Annie, is an experienced dental hygienist at Lady Bay Dental Care in West Bridgford, Nottingham. She has been part of the practice for a while now and is the lead hygienist for the periodontal referral service, The Dental Hygiene Hub.

 

Annie is passionate about supporting patients on their periodontal journey, from initial gum treatment through long term maintenance and prevention. Her clinical expertise includes non surgical periodontal therapy, airflow therapy, periodontal charting and assessment, supportive periodontal therapy, preventative dental care and patient education. Annie is also NCSCT trained and a certified smoking cessation practitioner, helping patients reduce risk factors that impact gum health and overall wellbeing.

Originally qualifying as a dentist in 2018, Annie gained valuable experience delivering free dental care in rural India before moving to the UK to complete a Masters in Public Health. She later worked within the NHS as a smoking cessation advisor, supporting patients in making positive, lasting lifestyle changes.

Based in Nottingham, Annie’s goal is to help patients feel confident in their smiles today and well into the future through education, prevention and personalised dental hygiene care.
